case to Discuss. 22 years old labour, pain swelling for last 6 months X-rays wrist of Sept. and April 2014. Only bony lesion , lab, X-ray chest clear. Needle Biopsy GCT.

Saeed Minhas If one try to remove through radio carpal jt. at this stage of tumour( hardly any cartilage) Tumour open , besides proximal fibula as osteoarticular graft doesnot work well in young labour remain painful and unstable.

Anuj Agrawal Neglected GCT distal radius. Needs en bloc excision and reconstruction with (in decreasing order of function and preference):
1. Reconstruction with distal radius allograft/ ipsilateral proximal fibular autograft- preserves functional movements in all planes.
2. Ulnocarpal arthrodesis with radial translocation of ulna- preserves pronosupination
3. Centralisation of ulna (without translocation)- preserves little movements through midcarpal joints
4. Wrist arthrodesis (without translocation)- no movements.
In a labourer, option 2 would be most suitable.
